Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

I enjoyed our day trip to Yamanashi prefecture the most because we got to do so many new things in just the one day. It was a good way to get to know my new classes as well.

Why did you select this program?

I've always wanted to go to Japan, and being able to live there and study the language was extremely appealing.

What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?

I think that the drill practice, textbooks, and tests helped me the most.

Were you pleased with the general living arrangements? Anything you especially liked? Any problems you experienced?

I loved my dorm. It was a perfect experience for my first time living on my own. I also greatly enjoyed the area I was living in because it was very close to the station and very easy to get around. The dorm manager was also very nice and accommodated everyone's needs.

Testimonials

I selected the KCP language program because I wanted to immerse myself in Japanese culture. I wanted to improve my Japanese, and there are glowing reviews of the teachers at KCP. The final verdict was decided when I looked up how much the program costs, and I realized that the short-term summer program is significantly more affordable than many other programs.
